Overjoyed

The inevitable urge to smile . . .
Making eyes twinkle with joy
A blush creeps up on you
"No way!" you say
You can't deny it
It's written all over your face
You get goofy and giggly
Close to your dreams
No control over your heart
Your body only a means of expression
Rockets launched in your brain
Confuse you, when at task
Nothing in order
Except that urge to smile

Those damned crushes when you're in school!

ZOOMING MATTER

The acids buzz around me,
Bases beyond my foundations
Alkalis make me gulp water
As I go thru the text.
The pH value of my brain…
You guessed a minus seven.
I’m pooped.
Let me outta here.
The equations seem to grumble
Their imbalance a striking feature
Catenation, neutralization
Titration, hydrogenation & Oxidation.
They buzz like mosquitoes in my ear.
Reduction calms me down.
`It’s OK you’ll have to do this
But once more. That’s it!’
Ready to burn my book…
A pal says, `Save trees, give it to me.’
An environmentalist…Oh no!
That reminds me of Hydrocarbons…
Help!
I’m beginning to get immune to it
The reaction prevented by a rusty head!
I hate it.
I’ve never felt this way before.
It’s not love.
I’m feeling murderous toward a certain Mosley and Dobrienier.
Good night and don’t buzz in my ears!

Natural

The moonlit beach . . .
Her nearness to him . . .
The effect of champagne . . .
The sound of each other's breath . . .
The sweet feeling of touch,
Smell and life of the beloved.
Her heart was haywire--
His, short-circuiting--
Self-control was in the air.
The birds decided to play music.
The nightingale, cuckoo and kingfisher--
Nature's best orchestra.
The thorn bird singing heartily,
While the dove induced musical harmony,
The harmony of two loving souls--
Blending into one.
Now, that's paradise.
Dawn only increases pleasure--
Makes the wildest events Real!

Am I dreaming?

Blue, green, yellow, and red
The euphoric sight…
Chatting and smiling
Seems all that I did
When they opened the doors
All my nervousness hid
Always cheerful it seems to me
I wonder where and how it will be
I smile my best and wait to see
What Google is like…
Is it my dream?
