Hindsight

We contract life
We contract memories
We contract entertainment
We contract love
And then we forget to feel

We contract transport
We contract cleaning
We contract cooking
We contract work
And then we forget to give

We contract care
We contract teaching
We contract learning
We contract friendship
And then we forget to live

We remember too late
We regret too late
We make amends to late
And then forget
All we need to do is
love
