That light you see

Dramatic skies
Gloomy grey
Waiting to unleash
Their wrath on this day
Weighing the sky down
Spreading dismay

The sky slowly transforms
With time the clouds move
Changing the perspective
For those who brood

Little bursts of light
Peeking through the grey
Spreading slowly
Across the expanse
Bring forth hope
And say 'nay' to dismay
